In 2013 this R8 was bought back by Audi from the Customer for a faulty repair and was given a "Manufacturer Buyback" Title. At this point in time, the "Buyback" Title doesn't effect the Value of the Vehicle much because it is already out of Warranty. A "Buyback" Title is NOT a Rebuilt or Salvage Title, it simply means, a Brand New car was Sold to someone who was not happy with the Product and under the "Lemon Law" the Manufacturer is required to buy it back after taking too long or failing to correct the problem. After the Buyback, Audi was required by Law to correct the Problem and they offered the Vehicle back up For Sale.
 
In May of 2014 the previous owner bought the Vehicle from us and he began to turn it into the Masterpiece you see today. The first thing he did was send the car to a reputable Paint & Body Shop for Inspection, they removed all of the Body Panels and went over the car with a "Fine Tooth Comb". To their surprise they could not find where the car had been repaired, Audi did a Great Job. While the car was apart he decided to change the Factory Color from Black to another Factory Audi Color, but this time a Color that was Rare, Samoa Orange Metallic!! Audi only made a few R8's this Color!!
